Transportation

At CCIS, we do not own our own buses, trains, planes or cruise ships; however, during your pre-trip planning stage, we will provide you with several quotes from reputable carriers for your consideration. Should you elect to use one of the carriers for which we have provided quotes, we will make the transportation arrangements and then invoice your group for transportation as a single item rather than on a per person basis.

As you may or may not be aware, many companies that include transportation in their per person package rates do so by dividing the cost of transportation by a significantly lower number than actual capacity.

For example, many companies will take a 55-passenger coach rate of $5,500.00 and divide it by 45 passengers for a per person rate of $122.22 and figure this into their per person rate. By doing so, they then make an additional $122.22 in pure profit for every passenger over 45. If the coach reaches full capacity, that is an additional $1,222.20 of profit charged to your group!

In order to assist you in determining the rates to charge trip participants, we will provide a Per Person Transportation Cost Chart for the quote(s) provided. As your numbers become more secure, determine the number of participants who will be responsible for paying for transportation, and then use this chart to ascertain the transportation dollars to be added to our Package Rates in order to establish the actual per person rates.
